If you have users register but not get an email to authorize them... check the Event Log in the [Admin] Menu for entries like this one:

InnerException: Mailbox name not allowed. The server response was: sorry, your mail was administratively denied. (#5.7.1)

This means that Your Email Address (The Admin Address for the Portal Admin) cannot be used to SEND FROM by our SMTP Server. This happens a lot with AOL.com addresses and Gmail.com addresses. This problem affects ALL email sent FROM your Portal to your Users. If email gets to anyone then this isn't the problem.
